Nativity

we did the nativity on 26th of november. I played One day about 2,000 years ago an angel named Gabriel appeared to a young Jewish woman named Mary. Gabriel told Mary she would have a son, Jesus, who would be the Son of God! Mary was confused and worried about this sudden news, but she had faith in God and said, I am the Lord's servant; let it be as you say. 

Mary and her husband-to-be, Joseph, lived in a town called Nazareth. But they had to travel to the city of Bethlehem to register for a census ordered by the Roman emperor, Caesar Augustus. Both Nazareth and Bethlehem are in the country now called Israel. It is about 65 miles (105 km) from Nazareth to Bethlehem, and the trip probably took them several days.

When Joseph and Mary got to Bethlehem, there was no place for them to stay because the inn was already full. They ended up spending the night in a stable, a place where animals were kept. There was probably fresh hay on the floor that they used for beds.That night, Jesus was born. There was no crib, so they laid baby Jesus in a manger, a feeding trough for animals. The manger probably had fresh hay in it and made a nice bed for the baby.

improvision

Last week we did dance and then when to look at the improvision of with a chair we had to imagine that a chair was something else. I imagined that it was some gym weights. we looked at improvision on eachother like how we walk someone i had walk like me and sit like me and i had to walk like them.


Tiffany gave us so homework to go home and observe an animal. then on Tuesday 19th we had to act like that animal if they were human. i looked at pegeon and had to act in a human way.after we did an improvision on a hat.on that tuesday we did dance in the morning

On Wednsday we were  blocking our play which is called the citienzship i have been looking at my character which is called stephen he is like a school bad boy.

last week tuesday on 5th of november we did hot sitting with connor and he was helping us on the characters of cinderella. After we did improvision with connor about the character. we have for the cinderella character for the opening house. We were given a homework that day to right a profile for you character and I did. My character is a 17 year old kid who lives in panto land and his mom is always busy that the kid. After we did that we looked at improvision about our characters.

Cinders is the main character  for the play and the story is based about her. the play is called cinderella which is her name so it tells that she is the main character for the play.

improvisation

Last we were set in groups of 4 we were given a task to do and we looked at improvisation about church, newspapers and gardening. Each group was given their own task to do. The task we were given had to be acted out. When the groups finished acting their piece the others groups had to give them feedback of what was good and what wasn't good which you need to improve on. Improvise is make up word with the act as you go along. We had to improvise our two pieces.

What is stimulus?
A stimulus can be described as a detectable change in a play that is usually the main theme of the play. Stimuli are often used to make the audience be interested in the play or notice the main protagonist or event in a play.

What is improvisation?
Improvisational theater often called improv or impro, is a form of theater where most or all of what is performed is created at the moment it is performed.

What skills did you use to perform?

What specific feedback did you get given?
The feedback I was given was that I done really good on my performance but I shouldn't block everyone's way and I took that feedback and made our performance better that the first one.

How did you improve on this for your second performance?

On our second performance we improved because Tiffany gave us a feedback and we really changed our performance cause we changed the way we did it the first by listening to the feedback which Tiffany gave us.

Today we looked at improvisation again but we were not allowed to talk unless if it was need in the play. We were set in group 3 groups and we had to play as we are waiting to go in doctors appointment.

The improvisation is good because you do not need a script for it you just make the scene go on cause you will be make you own words. Tiffany gave us some ideas which we had to improvase our self and I like it cause we made our on scene and roles which was quiet good. We had to work in group were u develop some team work skills which I like.

CINDERELLA

Last week we had started looking at a Pantomime and we looked at Dick Whittington with Ella Kent. Ella changed christmas carol to a pantomime which is called Cinderella and we watched Dick Whittington. Ella kent changed christmas carol because she  thought it was to heavy for us to do that is the reason. I found out that pantomime has a happy ending and that nobody dies. in a pantomime we have to involve the audience in the play. in every pantomime they is always an antagonist.
